"Bark" (2010) is a photographic series exploring the texture and visual splendor of tree bark as the personal history of trees.
The images were shot with a point-and-shoot low-res camera (2.5 mega pixel) without tripod, zoom, or aperture control. It was an exercise in stillness, a meditative communion with the trees, and an attempt to do more with less.
