My Piano Recordings
I was a concert pianist and recording artist for many years in Canada before abandoning that career due to an injury. The two CDs below were released in 2001, long after my retirement. They are the result of a strange piano recording project I undertook at Yamaha that allowed me to record without the use of my fingers. I called the project "Musical Sculpting" and it was accomplished on the Yamaha Disklavier-PRO, a computer-driven concert grand for which I programmed software that yielded these CDs:
Peter Elyakim Taussig
J.S.Bach: The Art of the fugue

Peter Elyakim Taussig
J.S.Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier
Book 1 on the Disklavier (2-CD set)

Archival Recordings (1972-1985)
The archival recordings listed here belong to another era in my life. During those years I recorded close to 200 recordings for the CBC, most of which are no longer in circulation and are now part of the archive of the University of Toronto Music Library. Unfortunately none have been re-released.
