3. Concerto Peru

The third work on the album is a miniature concerto in three tiny movements for Peruvian pan-pipes and virtual orchestra, written for Angel Tolentino. In structure the work mimics the traditional model of the classical concerto but has its roots in South American music.
A special diatonic instrument had to be created for the concerto.



The work still awaits its premiere with a real symphony orchestra.
